Advantage of the products: Artemia is a kind of living feedstuff , it should be directly feeded to a shrimp pool or a fish tank after resting artemia be hatched . Hatched nauplius can live a long time in water , little fish , shrimp and crab can prey on the feedstuff by themselves . The nutrition content is high and no pollution to the water.
artemia cysts storage: Keep out of direct sunlight. For short term storage, store in a cool dry place not more than 30ºC. If the artemia cysts or brine shrimp eggs are not used immediately keep the container tightly sealed to prevent the contents from moisture. Once the container has been opened, use within a few days time. For long term storage: Keep frozen at (0ºC) -17ºC or below. For best results, store under refrigerated conditions between 0 °C and +5°C for up to 24 months. If you take the artemia cysts from storage, please keep 12 hours outside, then to hatch.

The Typical Hatching of Artemia Cyst
1 Hatching container: use the clean container with a conic bottom.
2 Hatching water: use the clear non-pollution seawater or artificial sea water with a salinity of 15-35 ppt
3 PH value: the ideal PH for hatching is 7-8-8-5, it can be adjusted by adding the acoustic solution.
4 Aeration: make sure all the cysts are in good condition of suspension and circulation
5 Cysts density: less than 2.5g/l (water)
6 Temperature : the optimum hatching temperature is at 28-30℃
7 Illumination: not less than 1000Lux
8 Hatching time: 20-30 hours
9 Harvesting: stop the aeration, let the water be still for more than 15min, than collect the nauplii from the bottom by a toe.
10 Storage: The artemia cysts would be stored in cool and dry place, the tow temperature storage will be better if possible The cysts would be used up after the can being opened. |
